The quinceanera in chicano culture is much like a debutante party in anglo culture. It signifies that the young lady has reached early adulthood and is ready to begin taking her place in the adult world. It is a significant highlight in a young chicana's life.
Our ceremony has been carefully crafted to incorporate due reverence and respect for the young lady and her parents. She is encouraged to take her new role very seriously and look to God and what her parents and elders have taught her and to their continuing counsel for future guidance in life.
Revs. Allen and Phyllis are happy to officiate in service to those who value and want to preserve this beautiful tradition.
Rev. Allen is able to give these ceremonies in Spanish or Spanish/English.
